Forsyth will be hosting a two-day National Dental Symposium, “Making Sense of Health Care Reform and Putting Prevention into Practice” in Boston in the spring of 2011.
This will be the industry’s first event that brings together everyone in the dental world to discuss the changing landscape and focus on building healthy communities. The National Dental Symposium is intended as a high-profile event that will include speakers from the government and the national medical and dental arenas.
The health of the community and expanding the concept of “public health” in dentistry will be an ongoing goal of the Forsyth annual Symposium. At the inaugural conference, Forsyth will establish a National Student Ambassador Group. Two students will be invited from all of the dental schools in the United States. We hope to ultimately to create a cadre of students interested in oral public health and the health of the community.
If you are interested in speaking at the conference, sponsorship opportunities or attending, please email Jennifer Kelly at jkelly@forsyth.org
